Got an awesome new tripod

It's called the Slik Sprint Pro II. It compresses from the size of my arm and extends to over my head. I can also set it all the way down on the ground. Secures my heavy Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 IS lens pretty well.

Sheila and i attended our friends' wedding today. I had the nokia n97 to take photos. It's not great indoors, but more than okay for outdoor shots. The nokia n97 is also awesome for getting content online quickly. For example, this post was composed from the phone and was available online before I even got home.

Test multiple photos from nokia n97 to blog post

This is another test if i can blog directly from the nokia n97. This time I'd like to know if it's possible to include multiple photos in a post. I am doing this simply by selecting the photos on gallery then send as email. Nokia messaging shows up and then i compose my message as my post. When the message is sent, posterous converts it to a post then atuotweets it so my friends know about it. Let's see if this works. Test 1 2 3.

Cool social media experience

I got pulled over by a cop yesterday for a broken tail light. I snapped a photo with my Nokia N97 while they were processing my license and registration, then uploaded it immediately to facebook and twitter. Moments afterwards, i got a message from a friend on facebook telling me he can help with the ticket. He's a cop. 

This experience really showed me how quickly word can spread via social media.

let's begin

We went to the city clerk's office today to get our marriage license. We saw a bunch of couples getting married there as well. According to the law we have 60 days to get married after receiving the license. Our plan is to save money and do it there on january 9th, then do a bigger wedding 2 years later.
 
The experience feels like going to a fast food place. Hi, can i get a marriage license? Yes that'll be 35 dollars. 10 minutes later, we have what we ordered.

Kara likes getting rubbed

Our puppy is getting bigger. She loves getting her tummy and head rubbed. It's funny how she closes her eyes enjoying the moment.
 
This is a sample email from the nokia e71 attaching a video. Yes the video is horrible but I want to see how posterous handles videos.
